No Late-Season Magic Coming: Mercer Island Out of Playoffs Monday, September 20th , 2060 The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2060 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Mercer Island was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. Before this season, the Screaming Eagles had made the playoffs 3 times in a row. In the 44 years they have been a USPL Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Screaming Eagles have only missed the playoffs once. Mercer Island has won the PL AA Championship 22 times in their history. |
