Hit Streak Now at 20 for Rosário
Wednesday, May 2nd , 2063
Chalk up another one for Mercer Island Screaming Eagles first baseman Jesús Rosário. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Rosário went 1-for-5 in today's game at Marquette Stadium but saw his club defeated, 10-8, by the host Marquette Miners.
"Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Screaming Eagles manager Eric Todd said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Jesús Rosário grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
