Screaming Eagles Eliot Thompson Will Miss Season Saturday, May 6th , 2062 Mercer Island starting pitcher Eliot Thompson could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Gwinnett game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Thompson would be out 13-14 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." |
