Boyd Holohan Lost for Season Friday, June 30th , 2062 The doctors have spoken and Boyd Holohan of the Germantown Uruguayans didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Holohan sustained his season-ending injury during the Hudsonville Flanderses game yesterday at Hudsonville Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Germantown medical staff reported Holohan had a stretched elbow ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11-12 months. This year, Holohan has compiled a 0-4 record with a 3.56 ERA in 9 starts. |
