Hit Parade: Thomas Pops 5 Hits Wednesday, August 8th , 2063 Eric Thomas had an answer for everything the Fort Knox Centennial threw at him at Ballpark of Baxter. The Hudsonville second baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Flanderses a win, 12-5. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Thomas said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Eric Thomas doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off José Toro in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
