Injury Sidelines Rod Palmer for Season Thursday, August 16th , 2063 Rod Palmer of the Uruguayans just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Germantown starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 recently at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Palmer suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Uruguayans medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13 months. To this point in the season Palmer has 2 wins and 3 losses and a 3.45 ERA. |
