Arbiz Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Beavers Thursday, August 7th , 2059 Memphis Music center fielder Kidlat Arbiz had a magnificent game against the Northwest Territory Beavers, rocketing three balls out of The Stage in Memphis to help the Music win, 6-2. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Arbiz went 3-for-4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Memphis manager Luis Álvarez said later. "Seems like Kidlat found his home run stroke today." Kidlat Arbiz flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Ismael Riddles Jr. in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ismael Riddles Jr. in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Pasquale Pistone in the 7th and walked in the 8th. For the season, Arbiz has hit .246 with 13 home runs and 24 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 28 times. |
