Moreno Bashes 3 HR for Plattsburgh Friday, August 31st , 2063 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Mauro Moreno discovered that today at Plattsburgh Park, as he smashed three home runs during the 6-3 Plattsburgh Puffer Fish win over the Shady Side Zoomies. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Plattsburgh center fielder said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Moreno, who is tied for 2nd in the PA- in extra base hits with 44, finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Mauro Moreno hit a solo-shot off Xaavier Clemons in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Xaavier Clemons in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Brandon Adkins in the 8th.
