Sawyer Named Top PA- Hurler Saturday, September 1st , 2063 The top-rated pitcher this past month in the USPL Low A was Dan Sawyer of the Germantown Uruguayans. He really dominated league hitters, finishing August with a 4-1 won-lost mark and a 1.64 ERA. The Uruguayans ace made 5 starts and surrendered 30 hits in 38.1 innings. He struck out 25 and walked 8. On his stats sheet for the year Sawyer shows a 9-6 record, 15 starts, 117.1 innings, 83 strikeouts and a 2.68 ERA. |
