PA-'s Top Hitter Selected Thursday, September 1st , 2061 Luis Cruz has a lot going for him. The Crowley right fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the USPL Low A has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 21 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .405 with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Cruz has compiled a .290 batting average and a .374 on-base percentage, while hitting 8 home runs and driving in 26 runs. |
