Redwood's González Chosen PA- Batter of the Month Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 At only 21 years of age, Orlando González could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Redwood Rhinos, as July was one to remember for the right fielder and he has captured the USPL Low A Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .357 with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored. González is hitting .322 for the season with 9 home runs, 36 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 152 at-bats and played in 63 games. |
