Plattsburgh Starter Named PA-'s Best Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 Over the past month George Hill has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USPL Low A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish posted 4-0 mark and a 1.30 ERA. In 4 starts he tossed 34.2 innings, permitted 23 hits and fanned 30 batters. Looking at his season stats, Hill has won 7 and lost 3, collecting 91 strikeouts and 17 walks in 97.2 innings with a 2.49 ERA. |
