Silva Collects PA- Pitching Award Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 Willie Silva of the Hounds bewildered opposing batters in August and was honored as the USPL Low A Pitcher of the Month earlier today. The Hicksville starter sparkled last month with a 4-0 record and 1.67 ERA. He made 5 starts, tossed 37.2 innings and had 37 strikeouts. Silva has posted a 9-2 record for the year with a 3.31 ERA. Teams are hitting .224 against him and he has rung up 115 strikeouts in 111.1 innings. |
