Xin Fires No-Hitter Against Crowley Friday, August 30th , 2058 Amarillo Warheads starter Lan-quing Xin came up big at Titans Ballpark with an exceptional 6-0 win against the Crowley Cajuns. Not only did he whip them, but Xin held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Xin. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens." In the course of the no-hitter, Xin collected 7 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books. This year, Xin has no relief appearances with no saves, 6-3 season record and a 3.38 ERA. He has hurled 119.2 innings, given up 106 hits, struck out 120 and walked 36.
