Juan Castillo of the Fort Knox Centennial was on cloud nine during the 2061 season, mystifying most of the hitters he faced, then capping it off with the USPL Low A Pitcher of the Year Award.

Castillo was spectacular in 19 starting assignments with 9 wins and 3 losses, 131.1 innings, 110 strikeouts and a fine 1.51 ERA.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Joe Dunn of the Hudsonville Flanderses finished second in voting, while Morie Wada of the Redwood Rhinos finished third with 1 first place vote.
