Moore Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, May 2nd , 2062 Crowley center fielder Wilber Moore could do no wrong in his team's 15-2 win over the Hounds, as he collected 5 hits. "Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Hounds skipper Art Manning said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts." Moore agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game. "Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Wilber Moore singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off William Byrne in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Gerardo Montoya in the 5th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
