Warheads Matthew Hamm Down and Out for Year

Matthew Hamm has to call it a season. The Amarillo Warheads starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Memphis Music and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Hamm was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as bone chips in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months.
This year, Hamm has compiled a 0-3 mark with a 4.46 ERA.
