Puffer Fish Lose Román for Season
Tuesday, August 2nd , 2061
When Plattsburgh second baseman Tomás Román was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Puffer Fish-Shockers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Román had sustained a torn posterior cruciate ligament and will be out for about 10 months.
This year, Román is hitting at a .271 pace with 7 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 70 games and scored 27 times.
