Benjamin Wins SA- Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 8th , 2061 The top batter in the USSL Low A last week was Gary Benjamin, who batted .471 and towered above everybody with a 4-game hitting barrage. During the week Benjamin banged out a .471 batting average (8-for-17), 3 home runs, 7 runs batted in and scored 5 runs. Today the Bompton center fielder received the SA- Player of the Week Award. This season, Benjamin is batting at a .321 clip with 9 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
