Amarillo Loses Warren for Year Friday, August 12th , 2061 Kyle Warren has to call it a season. The Amarillo Warheads reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Bompton Baby Lakers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Warren was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. For the year, Warren has saved 13 games while posting an ERA of 1.21 and 22 strikeouts in 29.2 innings. His totals also include a 4-1 record in 26 relief appearances. |
