SA- Top Batter Trophy Won by McDowell Saturday, September 1st , 2063 Bob McDowell is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Bompton left fielder joined that select company when the USSL Low A announced the results of August's voting. McDowell totaled 23 hits, 15 walks, 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored last month to put together a .319 batting average and .443 on-base percentage. In 89 games this season, McDowell has batted at a .290 pace with 87 hits and 13 home runs. |
