Sheppard Stands Out, Choice for Best Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 Leonard Sheppard is the latest USSL Low A Pitcher of the Month trophy winner. The Bompton starter sparkled on the diamond time and again last month and finished July with an outstanding 5-0 record. In 5 starts he tossed 34.1 innings, posted 33 strikeouts, and sported a 1.57 ERA. This year, Sheppard has recorded a 7-2 mark. In 13 starts he has fanned 77 batters in 82.1 innings with a 2.08 ERA. |
