SA- Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 14th , 2062 The premier performer in the USSL Low A this week was Salvador Huerta of the Tijuana Toros. The hot-hitting 18-year-old center fielder put up a .381 average and .391 on-base percentage, piling up 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the SA- Player of the Week honors. For the year, Huerta is batting .228 with 8 home runs, 32 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |
