Mangrum Gone for Season in Tijuana Saturday, August 19th , 2062 Simon Mangrum will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Tijuana shortstop could miss the remainder of the year. Mangrum was injured while running the bases in the Toros-Shockers clash at Shockers Field recently. Doctors said he has a broken kneecap and would be out a minimum of 6 months. In 44 games this year, Mangrum has posted a .288 average and put up these numbers: 2 home runs, 25 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
