That's exactly what Bob DeCarewe did at Toros Ballpark, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 23-10. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," DeCarewe said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Ladue Rams shortstop blistered the Tijuana Toros for 3 hits, batted in 9 runs and scored 4 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Tijuana manager Milton Mathews said. Bob DeCarewe walked in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Finley Keirl in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Luis Medina in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Nick Hines in the 8th.
