Memphis Won't Make Playoffs Saturday, August 26th , 2062 It won't be a season to remember for the Memphis Music, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Music were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2062 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Memphis third baseman Paul Davis. The Music have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 13 years as a USSL Low A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2055. Memphis last won the SL R Championship in 2051. |
