Toros-Sea Dogs Fight Nets 4-Game Suspensions Sunday, August 11th , 2058 Tijuana's Blair Rigsby and Maine's Steven Baker have been handed 4-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Sea Dogs Park. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Rigsby and Baker provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. Looking at his stats this year, Rigsby has compiled a .336 batting average, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 26 runs. He has played in 37 games and scored 19 runs. So far this year, Baker has made 0 starts, tossed 29 innings, struck out 28 batters and walked 4. His record is 0-0 with a 2.48 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .236 batting average. |
