SA- Honors Zahut, #1 Batter in August Friday, September 1st , 2062 When Pete Zahut stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USSL Low A Batter of the Month award. The young Shady Side first baseman posted a .410 batting average with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Zahut also worked pitchers for 16 walks to post a .505 on-base percentage. This season, Zahut is batting .344 with 20 home runs. |
