Johnson Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, September 1st , 2062 Nobody has been able to shut down Philadelphia Liberty U-21 shortstop David Johnson in recent days. The Shady Side Zoomies fared no better than the rest. Today at Terriers Ballpark, Johnson picked up 1 hit in 4 at-bats en route to a win, 9-1. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. David Johnson flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. Johnson is currently batting .298 with 14 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
