Big Year for Rodríguez, Wins SA- Pitcher of the Year Award Sunday, September 23rd , 2063 The USSL Low A announced today that Rubén Rodríguez has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2063. The Hicksville starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 11-2 record. In his award-winning season Rodríguez crafted a 1.74 ERA in 129.1 innings with 105 strikeouts and 46 walks. Opposing batters hit .216 against him in his 19 starts. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Juan Velásquez of the Beaumont Crossbeaus finished second in voting, while Alex Burgess of the Hicksville Hounds finished third.
