SA- Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Wednesday, September 22nd , 2060 Tommy Woods was a calming influence out of the Maine Sea Dogs bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 20-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USSL Low A Reliever of the Year Award for 2060. The Wheeling, West Virginia native won the award with 12 saves in 36 relief appearances, 68 strikeouts in 63.2 innings and a record of 6-3 to go with his 0.99 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mike McCauley of the Beaumont Crossbeaus finished second in voting, while Gah-fat Hsu of the Shady Side Zoomies finished third.
