2058 SA- Pitcher of the Year Award Chosen Monday, September 23rd , 2058 Michael Adkins of the Athletic Club KC U-21 was in command and couldn't do much wrong when he was on the mound this season. His outstanding 11-2 won-lost mark and 1.84 ERA were big factors in his winning the 2058 USSL Low A Pitcher of the Year Award. In 117.2 innings of work and 17 starts, Adkins struck out 98 while giving up 86 hits and 31 walks. He held opposing batters to a .200 average. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dan Hewitt of the Ladue Rams finished second in voting, while Ed Perkins of the Memphis Music finished third.
