Longoria Gone; Crush Looking for New Skipper Tuesday, October 26th , 2060 Flint has fired manager Rafael Longoria. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," Crush general manager told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Longoria was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Flint spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Longoria -- and would not discuss whether Longoria would be offered another job in the Crush system. |
