3-HR Game for Rivera
Monday, June 4th , 2063
Long Island Ducks third baseman Richie Rivera had a magnificent game against the Quebec City Baby Blues, rocketing three balls out of Dylan Park to help the Ducks win, 10-3.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Rivera went 4-for-6 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Long Island manager Cody Blackburn said later. "Seems like Richie found his home run stroke today."
Richie Rivera flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off José Tobías in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Yun Ran in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Guzmán in the 9th.
At the moment, Rivera is hitting .319 with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 27 games and scored 17 times.
