Season Over for Jim Thompson in North Ft. Myers Wednesday, June 6th , 2063 The season is apparently over for Jim Thompson. The North Ft. Myers Gators medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 7 months with a torn rotator cuff. Thompson was hurt in the game against Ellesmere Island while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season, Thompson has made 4 relief appearances with no saves. In 14.1 innings he has fanned 22 hitters and recorded 1 win and no losses with a 0.63 ERA. |
