Ballard's Starter Receives 3A- Pitching Award Monday, August 1st , 2050 Steve Crabtree of Ballard excelled on the mound in July with a 4-0 record and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the M3L Low A. Crabtree restricted opposing batters to 21 base hits and a .202 batting average. He rang up 24 strikeouts in 29 innings of work, surrendered 12 walks, and fashioned a 1.86 ERA. This year Crabtree has recorded a 4-4 mark. In 11 starts he has fanned 55 batters in 61.2 innings with a 3.50 ERA. |
