Watford City Loses William Edwards for Season Wednesday, June 26th , 2058 William Edwards has to call it a season. The Watford City Trash Pandas reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Edwards was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. For the year, Edwards has no relief appearances and a 0-4 record with no saves. He has logged 42.1 innings and allowed 37 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .227 batting average against him. Edwards has rung up 32 strikeouts, surrendered 17 walks and fashioned a 2.55 ERA. |
