Moose Jaw Loses José Cortéz for Season Monday, July 9th , 2063 José Cortéz will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Moose Jaw reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Cortéz was injured while throwing a pitch in the Canucks-Crush clash at Foresters Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 4 months. For the season, Cortéz has 3 saves, tossed 39 innings, fanned 27 batters and produced an ERA of 3.46. He has also been credited with 3 wins and 2 losses. |
