Pushkin Rips Capital Hill for 5 Hits Monday, July 9th , 2063 Vladimir Pushkin exploded for a barrage of base hits at Ducks Park. The Long Island center fielder had a field day in his team's 15-0 triumph over the Capital Hill Interns, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Pushkin must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Vladimir Pushkin singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off José Delgado in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Dwien Bellanueva in the 8th.
