Player of the Week: Ellesmere Island's Miller Monday, July 11th , 2061 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Ellesmere Island third baseman Jerome Miller. He went on a rampage last week against 3A- hurlers and rapped out 7 hits in 16 at-bats for a .438 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 7 runs and scoring 4 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the M3L Low A Player of the Week trophy. Miller was honored today at a press conference. On the year, Miller has hit .322 with 14 home runs, 40 RBIs and scored 39 runs. |
