Johnson Takes 3A- #1 Pitcher Trophy Monday, August 1st , 2061 Last month was a very successful month for Marvin Johnson of Ellesmere Island. So successful that he has been honored as the Pitcher of the Month in the M3L Low A. Johnson shut down league hitters in fine fashion, rounding out July with an impressive 3-0 mark and 1.19 ERA in 5 starts with 28 strikeouts in 37.2 innings. This season, Johnson has a 8-3 mark in 15 starts with a 3.39 ERA. He has given up 88 hits in 95.2 innings, struck out 78 and issued 33 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .238 batting average against him. |
