Capital Hill Bats Silenced by Kennedy
Tuesday, August 2nd , 2061
In an outstanding mound performance, Bethlehem Angel Kitties starter Lee Kennedy fired a complete-game shutout against the Capital Hill Interns at Kittie Park.
Kennedy was the key to the 8-0 Bethlehem win. The 20-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 3 hits and 3 walks he allowed.
"3 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
To this point in the season, Kennedy shows a 5-6 record, 15 starts, 91.2 innings, 57 strikeouts and a 4.32 ERA.
