Express Mathematically Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 9th , 2063 After a tough year, the Napanee Express have been the butt of jokes around many water coolers in the Napanee area. There will be some new fodder for jaded fans to discuss now -- the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Napanee last appeared in the postseason in 2061. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 26-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Express have only made the playoffs once. |
