Flint Starter Named 3A-'s Top Pitcher Saturday, September 1st , 2063 The M3L Low A made it official today -- Labaan Makwangwala of the Flint Crush is the Pitcher of the Month. In August he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Makwangwala made 6 starts, registered 4 wins and 1 loss with a solid 2.55 ERA. In 42.1 innings he allowed 31 hits, racked up 35 strikeouts, walked 10 and permitted teams to hit .207 against him. This season, Makwangwala has compiled a 10-7 mark, 4.16 ERA and made 21 starts. |
