They were all words being used by the Ballard Beavers after today being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. "It stings to come this close but come up short," said manager Giddy Potts. Ballard last appeared in the postseason in 2058. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 18-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Beavers have made the playoffs 2 times. |
