Surprise Celebrates Wild Card Win Tuesday, September 8th , 2054 The Surprise Shockers clubhouse was filled with loud music and revelry late into the night, as the team celebrated a M3L Low A wild card position. The team, whose record stands at 60-37, battled throughout the year, but ultimately saw the quest for the playoffs come down to the season's final games. "I'd be lying if I said we knew we were going to make it," said starting pitcher Jon Murphy. "We did have confidence, but in the back of your mind you always wonder what's going to happen. There were some good teams pushing us." Now the Shockers don't have to worry, as they are in position to potentially win the 2nd M3L Low A championship in franchise history. |
