Dennis M3L Low A's Hottest Hitter Monday, August 21st , 2062 Travis Dennis must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .474 clip, then the Maine left fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the 3A- Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Dennis batted .474 (9-for-19) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. This season, Dennis is swinging the bat at a .286 rate with 93 hits in 325 at-bats. To date he has hit 15 home runs, scored 42 runs and driven in 38. |
