3A- Manager of the Year Award Goes to Tillman Saturday, September 26th , 2054 Mark Tillman stepped before the microphone today and accepted his M3L Low A Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Greenport Harbor Whales organization for making the 2054 season such a success. Tillman struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Greenport organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Tillman sparked the Harbor Whales to a 64-32 record and a first in the Menard's Low A standings. |
