Monday, September 28th , 2054
He may have less experience than most of his M3L Low A peers, but that didn't slow Quentin Zacagnini down at all in 2054.
At the age of 22, the Greenport left fielder has been named the winner of the M3L Low A Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .362 batting average and a .435 on-base percentage this year. In 91 games he piled up 130 hits, 21 doubles, 5 triples, 32 home runs, 95 RBIs and 79 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Kenneth Alexander of the Greenport Harbor Whales finished second in voting, while Troy Blackwell of the Bompton Baby Lakers finished third.
