Big Day with Bat: Sandoval 5-for-5 Monday, August 23rd , 2060 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Edgar Sandoval, it came around today. The 21-year-old center fielder scattered hits all over Field of the Browns to pace the 6-5 Bompton Baby Lakers victory over the Moose Jaw Canucks. Moose Jaw skipper Ismael Barrios told reporters in the press room that "Sandoval deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Sandoval hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Edgar Sandoval singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
